Astrup Fearnley Museet if you could transfer a Los Angeles art museum to Oslo this would be the space. The highlight is the architecture by Renzo Piano and the views of Tjuvholmen, Oslo.

Den Norske Opera & Ballet of course a must see for anyone who loves architecture and culture. Designed by Norwegian architecture firm Snøhetta with an interior installation by Olafur Eliasson, the building is a work of art in itself. Architecture and back stage tours are provided on the weekends.

Villa Stenersen is a modernist home that listed as national heritage and is part of the National Museum. It was built between 1937- 1939 and is a beautiful example of the International design style.
